We are looking for an infant teacher. As an infant teacher, your primary responsibilities are:
Implementation and evaluation of a high-quality, flexible and innovative age- appropriate early childhood program
- Delivering nurturing care and continuous supervision of assigned children.
- Maintaining the upkeep of classrooms and equipment inside and outside.
- Building positive relationships with and practicing open and honest communication with parents, co-workers, and Explorers management; completing daily reports.
- Consistently interacting in a positive developmentally appropriate way with the children; role modeling appropriate behavior and language for children.
- Providing age-appropriate experiences and activities for children, including storytelling, games and songs.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Knowledge of age-appropriate activities and child development philosophies and practices.
- Knowledge of safety requirements pertaining to young children.
- Dependable
- Flexibility
- Team player
