Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment where infants can explore, learn, and develop essential skills. Your enthusiasm for working with young children will inspire their growth and foster a love of learning from the very beginning. As an Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate activities, supporting individual needs, and promoting positive behavior in a classroom setting designed specifically for infants.

Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, literacy education, and social-emotional growth.
  • Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and independence among infants.
  • Provide attentive care including feeding, diapering, and ensuring safety at all times while maintaining proper hygiene standards.
  • Use effective behavior management techniques to foster positive interactions and support emotional regulation among infants.
  • Collaborate with families to share progress updates, discuss developmental milestones, and address individual needs or concerns.
  • Incorporate early intervention strategies when necessary to support children with special education needs or developmental delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of each child's progress, health information, and classroom activities in compliance with licensing requirements.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working with infants in a childcare or preschool setting is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and early childhood education best practices.
  • Familiarity with curriculum development tailored for toddlers and infants, including literacy education and Montessori methods is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
  • Ability to manage classroom routines efficiently while fostering a safe and stimulating environment.
  • Certification in CPR and first aid is required; additional credentials in special education or early intervention are advantageous.
