Infant Teacher Assistant

Our Christian Childcare Center is looking to hire a loving, enthusiastic, creative and fun individual to work in our Infant room.

Responsibilities include:

- Working cooperatively with the lead teacher with feeding, diaper changes, engaging with infants.

- Following CT ELDS Milestones for each child.

- Assist in preparation of appropriate lesson plans and activities for each child.

- Recording activities into childcare software

- Being a team participant in center's needs

Requirements include:

- A strong ability to work cooperatively with co-workers as well as openly communicate

- Ability to work in a fast-paced classroom

- Experience working in a childcare center

- Ability to stand, sit on the floor, and carry infants

- Education in Early Childhood Education preferred

- Background in Christian curriculum, a plus

- Availability between the hours of 8:00am – 5:30pm. Flexible weekly hours between 34-40 hours.

This is a year round position that offers paid time off and vacation time, holiday pay, payment for inclement weather days and a health insurance option after a probationary waiting period.
