Are you passionate about working with infants and eager to grow as an educator? Oak Park Friends School is seeking a full-time Infant Teacher to join our nurturing and collaborative team.

This position is ideal for someone who may still be developing their teaching practice but is excited to learn, build relationships with families, and create meaningful experiences for our youngest learners.

Oak Park Friends School is a play-based early childhood program serving children from infancy through kindergarten. We value curiosity, connection, outdoor exploration, and strong relationships with children and families.

What You'll Do

• Build caring, responsive relationships with infants and their families
• Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, sleeping, and transitions
• Create engaging play experiences that support developmental growth
• Observe and document children's development
• Work collaboratively with experienced teachers and administrators
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
• Participate in ongoing professional development and coaching

• Communicates effectively with families and colleagues
• Brings warmth, patience, and flexibility to their work
• Has experience in early childhood education, childcare, nannying, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (or currently pursuing)
• Experience working with infants or toddlers
• CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
