Infant Teacher (Lead)

Overview
We are growing and we're seeking a dedicated Lead to help with our Infant room in our new family owned early childhood center in the safe and nice city of Canton. We have a great friendly environment where everyone is like family. Pay based on experience. Must have at least 1 year of teaching experience in a childcare center with a similar age group. CDA or credits to qualify to be a lead.

Responsibilities

○ Maintain a safe and clean environment.

○ Follow all policies of the State of Michigan.

○ Be familiar with emergency procedures.

○ Provide various experiences and activities for all children as outlined in the curriculum.

○ Build children’s self esteem.

○ Implement positive redirection as needed.

○ Establish a diverse and inclusive classroom environment that fosters equality for all individuals, irrespective of gender, race, or those who require additional support.

Qualifications
○ Qualified to be a lead

Experience working with Infants or Toddlers in a Childcare Center

Good with organizing the classroom and curriculum

Flexibility in hours during opening hours of the center

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
