Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that support early childhood development, literacy education, and foundational skills in math and physical education.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and positive behavior management strategies.
- Provide attentive toddler care by monitoring health, safety, nutrition, and hygiene needs of each child.
- Engage children in meaningful activities that promote language development, social skills, and early intervention techniques for children with special needs.
- Maintain detailed documentation of each child's progress, including assessments aligned with standardized testing standards when applicable.
- Collaborate with families to communicate developmental milestones and tailor lesson plans to meet individual needs.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently while ensuring compliance with childcare regulations and best practices in childhood development.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, particularly with infants and toddlers.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, classroom management, and behavior management techniques suitable for young learners.
- Background in early childhood education.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to plan lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education activities, and child welfare standards.
- Certification in early childhood education or related fields preferred; ongoing professional development encouraged. Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Experience:
- Childcare (Center or Family): 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED (AHA) (Required)
- 45 hr Infant / Toddler Methods and Materials Certification (Required)
- 45 hr Child Growth an Development Certification (Required)
- 9 hr Communication Training certificate (Required)
- Americans with Disabillities Act Certificate (Required)
- Supporting Breastfeeding Certificate (Required)
