Infant & Toddler Nanny

.Welcoming Summit family seeking a full-time nanny/family assistant to care for their two young boys. The role will primarily focus on their 9-month-old infant, while also supporting their 3-year-old when he is home from school. Care is needed Monday–Friday with a very flexible start-date.

Schedule

Monday-Friday: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Parents commute to NYC several days per week, so reliability and occasional flexibility if trains run late is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Providing attentive daily care for both children

• Planning creative play, art projects, games, and outdoor adventures

• Supporting routines and developmental milestones

• Driving to activities as needed

• Taking children on walks, outings, and outdoor play whenever possible

• Light family assistant support including:

• Loading/unloading dishwasher

• Tidying common areas

• Running vacuum if needed

• Family lau dry

Compensation

• $32–35 per hour depending on experience

•Industry standard benefits (vacation, sick, all holidays off and paid)

• Gas/mileage reimbursement if nanny uses personal vehicle

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with similar ages simultaneously

• Clean driving and criminal record

• Eligible to work in the US

• Fully vaccinated

• Fluent English

• Comfortable working alongside hands-on parents

About the Family

This is a thoughtful, engaged family that values curiosity, learning, and spending time together. Reading, imaginative play, and outdoor exploration are important parts of daily life.

Both parents are busy professionals who commute to New York City several days per week. Mom works from home three days a week, and dad occasionally works from home, and they enjoy being involved in their children’s routines whenever possible.

The family also has a friendly medium sized dog. No pet care is required aside from occasionally letting her out the back door. They love spending time outdoors and would enjoy a nanny who likes stroller walks, park outings, and outdoor play. In the summer, they often spend Fridays at their Hudson Valley home.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal nanny will be warm, engaging, and bring a calm presence while still being playful and interactive with the children.

They are seeking someone who enjoys nurturing infant care while creating fun, engaging days for a toddler through activities, play, and outdoor time. Strong communication is important, and the family appreciates updates throughout the day. They hope to find someone who will become a trusted, long-term presence in their children’s lives.
