Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with young children and possess the skills necessary to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. This role involves educating young children, fostering their development, and ensuring their safety and well-being.

Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their child's development.
  • Facilitate activities that encourage learning through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students.
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to support the needs of children with disabilities or special educational requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and developmental milestones.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children in a childcare setting is required.
  • Familiarity with infant care, toddler care, and special education practices is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A genuine passion for educating young children and fostering their growth.
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Patience, creativity, and adaptability in managing classroom dynamics.
  • Relevant certifications or degrees in early childhood education or related fields are advantageous but not mandatory.
