Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children. A successful candidate will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate curricula, fostering a positive classroom atmosphere, and engaging with families to support each child's growth. Must work well with others and remain professional in a school environment.
Responsibilities
- Love and care for children's personal, physical, social, and emotional needs first, educate them next.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment for all students.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their curiosity and love for learning.
- Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among students.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the educational experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that is conducive to learning.
- Provide care for children during daily activities, including meals, nap time, and playtime.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a preschool or daycare setting is a bonus but not required, we will train new teachers on the job. Pay is based on experience working with children in a childcare setting.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Experience with special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
- Previous roles in caregiving, nannying, babysitting, or similar positions will be considered valuable experience.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
