Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children. A successful candidate will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate curricula, fostering a positive classroom atmosphere, and engaging with families to support each child's growth. Must work well with others and remain professional in a school environment.

Responsibilities

  • Love and care for children's personal, physical, social, and emotional needs first, educate them next.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment for all students.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their curiosity and love for learning.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas.
  • Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among students.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the educational experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that is conducive to learning.
  • Provide care for children during daily activities, including meals, nap time, and playtime.

Experience

  • Prior experience working in a preschool or daycare setting is a bonus but not required, we will train new teachers on the job. Pay is based on experience working with children in a childcare setting.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Experience with special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
  • Previous roles in caregiving, nannying, babysitting, or similar positions will be considered valuable experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
