Zion Christian Preschool & Kindergarten is seeking a nurturing, dependable, and enthusiastic Teacher’s Assistant to join one of our new infant/toddler classrooms. We are looking for someone who has a genuine love for young children and desires to work in a warm, relationship-centered Christian environment.

At Zion, we believe the earliest years of life are precious and foundational. Our infant and toddler programs focus on responsive care, loving relationships, developmentally appropriate practices, and creating a peaceful environment where children feel safe, secure, and deeply loved.

Position Details:

• Full-Time, Year-Round
• Monday–Friday
• 40 hours per week

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Range: $19.80–$21.32/hour
• (depending on verified education and experience)

• Must love working with infants and toddlers
• Must demonstrate Christian values consistent with our school mission
• Minimum 6 units in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Infant/Toddler coursework strongly preferred
• Experience working with young children preferred
• Must be dependable, patient, nurturing, and team-oriented
• Strong communication skills and professionalism required

Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting the lead teacher in providing loving, responsive care
• Supporting feeding, diapering, nap routines, and daily classroom activities
• Helping maintain a calm, safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
• Following licensing regulations and health/safety procedures
• Supporting children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through developmentally appropriate practices
