Infant/Toddler Teacher

Mommy’s Daycare is currently looking for fun, energetic individuals who have a love for children to work in our childcare program.

The mission at Mommy's Daycare LLC is to help children reach their full potential in educational, physical, social and emotional development while providing them with a nurturing, safe and secure homelike environment. In addition to our goal, we serve as a supportive resource for families providing full services such as, convenient hours, evening and weekend care, pick-up and drop-off services, doctor visits, cosmetology services while yet remaining affordable for all families.

Requirements of the Daycare Teacher

• High School Graduate/GED
• Previous daycare experience
• CPR Certified
• M-F 25 - 30 hours (part-time)
• M-F 35 - 40 hours (full-time)

Responsibilities of the Daycare Provider/Teacher

• Providing the basic needs for children, such as setting schedules, routines, feeding, changing diapers, grooming, etc.
• Maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment which includes cleaning rooms, toys, etc.
• Creating age-appropriate learning activities (lesson plans) that support basic child development stages in physical (fine/gross motor), social and emotional, language and cognitive development, which prepares children for next level learning by assisting with the transition into preschool or kindergarten
• Ensuring children are learning positive behaviors like manners, sharing and providing guidance when needed. Encouraging children to discover new interests by introducing them to art, music, sports and other potential hobbies.
• Maintain record keeping relating to children and working with parents to help children progress towards educational and behavioral milestones.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
