Infant/Toddler Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a nurturing, reliable, and energetic Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our childcare team. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood development and committed to providing a safe, loving, and engaging environment for children ages 6 weeks to 3 years.

• Provide attentive, responsive care to infants and toddlers throughout the day
• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
• Follow all state licensing regulations and center policies
• Monitor and document children’s development, routines, and progress
• Communicate daily with parents regarding their child’s care and development
• Assist with feeding, diapering, and nap routines
• Promote positive behavior and social-emotional development
• Work collaboratively with team members and management
• Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized attention as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred
• Must pass background checks and clearances
• Prior experience working with infants/toddlers or similar settings is highly desirable but not required
• Ability to lift, bend, and move comfortably with young children
• Certifications such as First Aid are preferred but can be provided upon hiring
• Required background checks and clearances
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, patient, and caring demeanor
• Must obtain an up-to-date health screening and tuberculosis test as required by state regulations

Pay and Hours

• Starts at $12.50 and goes up with experience, advance schooling, degrees, or teaching certifications.
• Full time open availability between 6:30 am and 5:30 pm
• Part time 12:00 pm-5:30 pm
