Infant/Toddler Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our dynamic early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early literacy, motor skills, socialization, and emotional regulation for infants and toddlers.
  • Create a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence.
  • Engage children in hands-on activities that support developmental milestones in areas such as language acquisition, sensory exploration, and physical coordination.
  • Manage classroom behavior using positive guidance techniques to foster respectful interactions among children.
  • Collaborate with families to share progress updates, discuss developmental concerns, and support each child's individual needs.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of each child's growth, milestones, and daily activities in compliance with licensing standards.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation procedures and emergency protocols.

Experience

  • Prior classroom experience working with infants and toddlers in licensed childcare centers or preschool settings.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles, including early intervention strategies for children with special needs.
  • Familiarity with curriculum development focused on literacy education, motor skills, and social-emotional learning.
  • Experience managing classroom routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions smoothly.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and families.
  • Background in behavior management techniques suitable for young children to promote positive behaviors.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
