Infection Control Nurse

The Infection Control Nurse is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) programs within the healthcare facility. The role includes conducting surveillance of healthcare-associated infections, ensuring compliance with infection control policies and standards, educating staff on IPC practices, and coordinating outbreak investigations to protect patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, analyze, and report infection trends.
• Develop and enforce infection control policies and procedures.
• Provide training and guidance to healthcare staff on IPC measures.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Lead outbreak management and implement corrective actions.
