Infection Control Nurse

Job Summary:
The Infection Control Nurse will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining infection prevention and control (IPC) standards across the hospital. The role involves developing and enforcing policies, conducting surveillance activities, training healthcare personnel, and ensuring compliance with national and international infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Qualification & Experience:

• Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery or BSc Nursing or Post RN from an institution recognized by the Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council (PNMC).
• Diploma in Infection Control Nursing from a reputable and PNMC-recognized institution.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in infection prevention and control within a healthcare setting.
• Must possess a valid PNMC Registration Certificate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate infection prevention and control policies and procedures.
• Conduct infection surveillance and monitor compliance with IPC standards throughout the hospital.
• Investigate and report healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide training and education to healthcare staff on infection control practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote patient safety and quality improvement.
• Maintain accurate documentation and prepare reports for management and regulatory audits.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs85,000.00 - Rs90,000.00 per month
