Infection Control Nurse

• Implement Infection Control Programs – Ensure compliance with national and international guidelines.
• Surveillance – Monitor and report healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).
• Education & Training – Train staff on infection prevention practices (e.g., hand hygiene, PPE).
• Audits – Conduct regular audits on infection control protocols.
• Isolation Procedures – Ensure proper isolation and waste management for infectious patients.
• Antibiotic Stewardship – Support appropriate antibiotic use to prevent resistance.
• Outbreak Management – Lead efforts during infection outbreaks.
• Reporting – Maintain records and report infection data to relevant committees.
