Job Description: Infection Control Nurse (ICN)

Experience - Min. 2-5 yrs with Valid DNC

Qualification—GNM/B.Sc./ M.Sc Nursing

Responsibilities and Key Tasks

1. To maintain accurate patient clinical records, updating specialist database as required.

2. To identify, investigate and monitor infections and hazardous practice /procedures which could post health-risks to patients staff or the public.

3. To provide specialists advice to all augmented care settings with respect to improving the patient experience and the reduction of HCAIs.

4. To assist staff in compliance with the standards of infection control policies as provided in the guidelines of NABH.

5. Advice and support staff in the implementation of policies in their areas.
