Infection Control Nurse

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Infection Control Nurse (DOH Licensed) to oversee, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control programs in our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate must have strong UAE experience in maintaining international healthcare standards, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control policies and procedures
• Conduct regular infection control audits and inspections across all departments
• Ensure compliance with DOH, OSHA, JCI, and local healthcare regulations
• Educate and train medical and non-medical staff on hygiene, sterilization, and infection control protocols
• Monitor hospital-acquired infections (HAIs) and take corrective actions
• Supervise sterilization processes and ensure proper handling of medical waste
• Investigate infection incidents and prepare detailed root cause analysis reports
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for regulatory inspections
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and management to maintain a safe clinical environment

Eligibility & Requirements

• Mandatory: Valid DOH License as Infection Control Nurse
• Experience: Minimum UAE experience required
• Strong knowledge of infection control guidelines and UAE healthcare laws
• Excellent observation, reporting, and communication skills
• Ability to conduct staff training and audits independently
• Immediate joiners preferred
