About the Role
Pegasus Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and qualified Infection Control Nurse to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing, implementing, and monitoring infection prevention and control programs to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students, faculty, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control (IPC) policies and procedures in accordance with DHA and university standards.
- Conduct infection surveillance and audits across campus facilities and clinical areas.
- Provide infection control training and education to healthcare staff, students, and other personnel.
- Investigate infection outbreaks and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure compliance with infection control standards during all clinical and laboratory operations.
- Collaborate with the university health center, safety officers, and management to promote overall campus health and hygiene.
- Maintain accurate documentation and prepare regular reports on infection control indicators and compliance levels.
Requirements
- Valid DHA License/Eligibility as a Registered Nurse.
- Certification or formal training in Infection Control preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in infection control or hospital/clinic nursing.
- Strong understanding of infection prevention principles, hygiene standards, and DHA regulations.
- Excellent communication, training, and organizational skills.
