This position will primarily support our Dallas patient population, with occasional coverage at nearby locations as needed.
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and patient-centered Nurse Practitioner to join our Dallas clinical team. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, adaptable and able to work both independently and collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
In this role, you will guide patients through fertility evaluation, treatment, and follow-up care while taking ownership of assigned clinical responsibilities and contributing flexibly to clinic operations to support high-quality patient care.
Degree & Licensing Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a Nurse Practitioner specialty track
- National Board Certification as:
- Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP)
- or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Active Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the state of Texas
- Eligibility for prescriptive authority in Texas
- Current BLS/CPR certification
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
- Conduct new patient consultations, follow-up visits, medication reviews, and results appointments
- Perform transvaginal ultrasounds for baseline and cycle monitoring (OI, IUI, IVF, FET)
- Review and interpret laboratory results, imaging, and diagnostic findings
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans under physician supervision
- Educate and counsel patients on diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and cycle expectations
- Perform or assist with fertility-related procedures, including:
- Saline sonograms (SIS/SHG)
- HSO (HyCoSy / Foam Sonography)
- Endometrial biopsies
- Intrauterine inseminations (IUI)
- Hysterosalpingograms (HSG)
- Prescribe medications within Texas scope of practice
Patient Support & Education
- Provide clear, compassionate communication at every stage of care
- Educate patients on medications, treatment timelines, and procedural expectations
- Offer emotional support and ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in IMS/EMR
- Provide comprehensive patient education and counseling in both English and Spanish
Collaboration, Workflow & Clinical Ownership
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, IVF coordinators, front desk, and laboratory teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in case reviews, interdisciplinary team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
- Support daily clinic operations and patient flow to maintain efficiency and high-quality care
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and all clinic policies, procedures, and protocols
- Demonstrate initiative, professionalism, flexibility, and a strong team-oriented mindset
- Receive structured training in sonography and perform related procedures, if new to the field
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Women’s Health, OB/GYN, or Reproductive Endocrinology preferred
- Strong ultrasound and procedural skills (training available)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- High level of professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail
Preferred (Not Required)
- Prior infertility or REI experience
- Familiarity with fertility medications and treatment protocols
- Experience using IMS EMR
Schedule & Work Environment
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Participation in a rotating holiday coverage schedule is required, shared equitably among clinical providers
- Pager call responsibilities are required and extend beyond scheduled holidays
- Pager call coverage may include non-holiday periods when other providers are on extended leave, traveling, or otherwise unavailable for clinical duties
- Primary location: Frisco
- Travel to other Conceive Fertility Center locations (Frisco and McKinney) may be required based on patient or practice needs
