Information Systems Analyst

Fauquier County is hiring an Information Systems Analyst!

This position serves as the primary support resource for the County's Human Resources, Finance, and Budget systems. From troubleshooting and training to testing and vendor coordination, this role helps ensure our critical business systems operate effectively and continue to improve.

GENERAL DEFINITION OF WORK: The Information Systems Analyst serves as the primary support resource for the County’s Human Resources, Finance, and Budget systems. This position provides user assistance, troubleshooting, documentation, training, testing, and coordination with vendors, Information Technology staff, and business stakeholders to ensure effective utilization of enterprise systems. The position supports business processes and continuous improvement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/TYPICAL TASKS: Responsible for supporting the effective use of Human Resources, Finance, and Budget systems through user support, business process analysis, training, testing, documentation, and coordination of system-related activities.
