Information Technology Audit Supervisor

The “IT Audit Assistant Manager” , reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, will be responsible for actualizing annual audit plan with a focus on audits that address technology risks in business and technology processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software/Industrial Engineering, MIS, or related fields
• 5+ years of experience in IT Audit, IT Control, Software engineering or related IT operations
• Hands-on knowledge of modern software development environments (Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and application performance monitoring tools, Knowledge of DevOps development cycles and SSDLC are plus
• Solid understanding of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#) and ability to review and interpret source code for control validation
• Experience in auditing/managing DevOps pipelines, automated test frameworks, or version control processes
• Knowledge on Core IT processes, key IT control concepts, frameworks and regulations (ISO 27001, COBIT, ITIL, SCF, NIST, BRSA Regulations, CMB Regulation, etc.)
• Data-driven mindset with proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Oracle, etc.) and working knowledge of data science tools (e.g., Pandas, Scikit-learn, Power BI, or R)
• Good understanding of relation between business processes, IT infrastructure and the risks affecting IT business processes
• CISA, CDPSE, or relevant programming/data certifications are a strong plus
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content to a range of audiences
• Self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to solve problems and providing solutions and coping with ambiguity
• Advanced Excel skills, and working knowledge of one of these scripting languages SQL,
• Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL and MSSQL systems
• Advanced written and verbal English skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Executing IT Audit activities in line with the annual IT audit plan, identifying risks and recommending improvements for IT security, software quality, and operational efficiency
• Following up on the implementation status of audit recommendations, particularly those related to software development, deployment, and system architecture
• Designing and developing continuous audit scripts using advanced data analytics tools; building dashboards, scorecards, and reports through SQL/Python-based automation
• Leading or supporting ad-hoc audits involving application controls, software development life cycles (SDLC/SSDLC), DevOps pipelines, or system integrations
• Monitoring audit findings across both infrastructure and software domains, ensuring action plans are addressed and documented
• Conducting interviews and technical deep-dives with software developers and engineers to evaluate business logic implementation, change management, and release processes
• Embedding data analytics and code-level insights into audit methodologies, and reporting findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders through visual and written formats
