Information Technology Instructor

Standard School Year, 186-day base contract + 5 extended days for 1st year

Responsibilities:

Develop engaging, hands-on lessons that encourage creativity and problem solving for middle school aged students. Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports collaboration. Evaluate student performance, communicate effectively with parents, school personnel, and business partners. and school personnel. Serve as CTSO advisor.

Requirements:

A valid Ohio career-technical Integrated Business certificate/license, or at least five years full-time work experience in the informational technology field that can lead to a career-technical teaching license.

Preferences:

Experience with Information Technology, specifically in the areas of coding, programming, video, and audio technology. Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills. Ability to identify, evaluate, and implement program options, tools, and curricular resources that support the diverse learning needs of students. Experience working with career technical student organizations.
