Information Technology Support Engineer

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

We’re looking for a dynamic IT Support Engineer who is proactive, solution-oriented, and eager to take ownership of IT systems and infrastructure support. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of hardware, software, and networking, and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Hardware & Infrastructure Support

  • Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, servers, cameras, access control devices, and Wi-Fi access points.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance and ensure proper functioning of all IT hardware.
  • Provide first-level support and troubleshooting for hardware-related issues.

2. Microsoft 365 & Cloud Services Administration

  • Manage user accounts, licenses, and permissions in Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
  • Provide day-to-day support for email and collaboration tools including Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint Online.
  • Handle laptop setups for onboarding, including imaging, application installations, and account configurations.

3. Network & Connectivity

  • Monitor and support internet and internal network connectivity.
  • Liaise with service providers such as Du or Etisalat for telecom and internet services, including installation, troubleshooting, and upgrades.

4. IT Helpdesk & Support Operations

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues within the Dubai office.
  • Log, track, and resolve incidents and service requests using ManageEngine ticketing system .
  • Provide remote support for offsite employees when needed and escalate issues as appropriate.

5. Asset & Documentation Management

  • Maintain up-to-date inventory of IT hardware and software.
  • Document system configurations, incidents, and resolutions.
  • Ensure all IT equipment is tagged and records are regularly updated.

6. General IT Operations

  • Ensure secure disposal and data wiping of retired IT equipment.
  • Maintain physical security of IT infrastructure (e.g., server room access).
  • Train staff on basic IT procedures and best practices.



Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of IT support experience in a corporate environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with hardware (laptops, printers, access devices, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Office 365 administration, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive .
  • Experience using ManageEngine or similar IT service management (ITSM) tools.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals (LAN/Wi-Fi/VPN).
