Information Technology Support Officer

  • Serve as the primary contact for technical support requests from beneficiaries and stakeholders, ensuring proper follow‑up, execution, and closure.
  • Provide users with guidance on operating IT devices such as printers and digital scanners.
  • Operate and support digital applications, databases, IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and information security across the Academy.
  • Monitor server and network performance to ensure continuous availability, stability, and security.
  • Create and configure new user accounts on systems and networks according to approved access permissions.
  • Repair or replace malfunctioning devices in line with established policies and procedures.
  • Implement data and information security measures, manage firewalls and security software, and respond to security incidents.
  • Prepare reports on system and application integration, identify improvement areas, and submit recommendations to the direct manager.
  • Gather input on IT infrastructure capabilities, collect business and application requirements, attend related meetings, and ensure accurate documentation of needs.
  • Collect necessary data during IT project execution, report arising issues, and escalate information security concerns to maintain the entity data integrity.
