IT Support Technician
in San Antonio, TX for a long-term contract. The
IT Support Technician
requires a technical professional with experience supporting customers through provisioning/de-provisioning and maintenance of multiple hardware platforms and their related software.
Hours:
15-20 hours per week, flexible on hours but prefer work to be completed sometime between 8am to 5pm CST, Monday thru Friday at San Antonio, TX site.
DUTIES/EXPERIENCE:

IT support; install, upgrade, and monitor software and hardware

Responsible for the operations and maintenance of systems that fall under the Enterprise Infrastructure Team.

Designs, configures, and tests computer hardware, networking software and operating system software.

Lead projects for new hardware/software deployments and implementations
-
Diagnoses hardware and software problems and replace defective components.

Break/Fix
-
Imaging computers and deploying software
-
Supporting meetings
-
Taking backups
-
Monitoring local server
-
Working with vendors on additional support
-
Vendor tracking/management
REQUIREMENTS:
-
2-5 years’ experience in desktop or IT support experience in hardware and software installation, troubleshooting and repair

Knowledgeable with label printers and scanners,

Network support and troubleshooting

Experience with trouble ticket tracking and resolution
-
Excellent customer service, written and oral communication skills
-
Wiling to wear steel-toed shoes/boots
-
Experience running/developing reports in Power BI or QAD, a plus
