Responsible for managing network operations, general maintenance of defined computers/ laptops and resolving any technical problems or issues.

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or IT.

IT Certifications is essential

A+, CCNA and/or MCSE Certifications
Experience Required:

3 year relevant IT work experience in managing network operations

Experience in educational setting preferred Additional Requirements

Extensive knowledge and experience in networking/wireless technologies and equipment
Languages:

English: Fluency/Excellency in oral and written
-
Arabic: preferable

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Comply with EHS Policies, Programs and Procedures as per ADVETI EHSMS-General Framework and take responsibility for any aspect of EHS that they are involved in

Advises and makes recommendations on improving performance and on providing additional and enhanced network solutions
-
Coordinate with Operation department to ensure the machines and equipment’s are collaborated, functional and maintained
-
Liaises with the Directorate network team on WAN and networking issues
-
Designs, implements and manages college network and related security requirements
-
Maintains a professional awareness of current best practice in the field of IT
-
Provides training to fellow team members and staff as required
-
Supports and troubleshoots the network infrastructure on a daily basis
-
Maintains disaster recovery plans, performs network monitoring and ensures accuracy of network documentation
-
Submits periodical reports and analysis such as traffic patterns, utilizations etc

Microsoft Active Directory domain administration.

Apple Open directory delegated administration.

TCP/IP, Internet technology, standards and routing protocols.

Routers, switches, firewalls, IDA/IP.

Network management, security and authentication systems.

PABX systems, Voice over IP and IP Telephony.

Audio and Video conferencing systems including ISDN.
