About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Draftsman (Roads & Utilities) with strong experience in engineering consultancy projects across the UAE. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in preparing detailed infrastructure drawings for roads, stormwater, sewerage, and utility networks, ensuring compliance with local authority standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, IFC drawings, and as-built drawings for roads and utilities projects.
• Develop drawings for road layouts, profiles, cross-sections, grading, and utility corridors.
• Coordinate with civil engineers, design teams, and project managers to ensure design accuracy and compliance.
• Modify and update drawings based on design changes and client feedback.
• Ensure all drawings comply with UAE authority standards (e.g., Municipality, RTA, etc.).
• Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions.
• Assist in resolving design and drafting issues during project execution.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of UAE experience in roads and utilities drafting.
• Strong background working with engineering consultancy firms.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure standards, road design, and utility coordination.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in major infrastructure/road projects in the UAE.
• Knowledge of local authority submission requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
