Infrastructure Estimator Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Infrastructure Estimator Engineer to prepare accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and bid documentation for infrastructure projects such as roads, drainage, utilities, and earthworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications, with the ability to support tendering and planning processes through precise and competitive estimations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project scope for infrastructure and civil works.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, including quantity take-offs, labor, materials, and equipment.
• Conduct detailed measurements for roads, earthworks, drainage, and utility networks.
• Collaborate with design, planning, and procurement teams to validate cost data.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist in tender preparation, bid evaluation, and cost comparison analysis.
• Identify project risks and propose cost-effective alternatives.
• Maintain and update estimation templates and cost databases.
• Participate in site visits and pre-bid meetings for data collection.
• Provide technical input during post-bid negotiations and clarifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in infrastructure estimation (roads, utilities, drainage, etc.)
• Proficient in estimation software/tools and MS Excel
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Open to any nationality
• Must be able to join immediately or within 1 month
