Infrastructure Network Manager

Job Title: Application Infrastructure Engineer Job Location: Remote Description: AgreeYa is a global Systems Integrator and is seeking an experienced Application Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical professional with strong experience in firewall deployments, server management, web services, and cloud environments (Azure/AWS). This is not a pure DevOps role; however, the ideal candidate will have practical DevOps experience, understand proxy systems, and be comfortable spinning up and managing servers in both cloud and on-premise environments. The Application Engineer will play a key role in maintaining secure, scalable, and reliable application infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deploy and manage firewalls, proxies, and security appliances
• Configure, monitor, and maintain application servers and web services
• Manage and provision cloud servers in Azure and AWS environments
• Support CI/CD pipelines and implement DevOps best practices
• Troubleshoot application connectivity issues, firewall rules, and proxy routing
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of applications
• Document processes, configurations, system architecture, and workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployments and infrastructure changes

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience in Application Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or related roles
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, proxies, and security appliances
• Experience managing application servers and web services
• Experience working in cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
• Experience configuring and supporting CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of proxy systems, networking concepts, and application connectivity
• Experience provisioning and managing servers in cloud and/or on-premise environments
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Experience with load balancers and web application security
• Experience working with containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Scripting experience using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools

Education Required: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent work experience)
