Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Consultant to provide crucial support across the lifecycle of major infrastructure projects. This role is a blend of project delivery, client interaction, and essential operational support, offering a fantastic opportunity to build a career in infrastructure consultancy. Job Description

Position requirements:

  • Assisting in the delivery of strategy, development, and transaction services for projects on behalf of government agencies or bidding consortiums.
  • Providing research and analysis to support commercial, technical, or process-related services for major infrastructure projects.
  • Take ownership of key project administration, including the setup, maintenance, and management of virtual datarooms and document control systems.
  • Undertake project delivery tasks and support the project management function to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Support senior team members in identifying, anticipating, and escalating project issues with clients and stakeholders.
  • Be an active and collaborative team member, contributing to a positive and productive team environment.
  • Assist in building relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, statutory authorities, contractors, and end users.
  • Support the Bids Team by contributing to proposals and submissions, and by helping to maintain external relationships.
Desired Skills and Experience

About you:

To be considered you need to have at least 2-3 years of experience in a consultancy, client-side advisory, or project support role (essential). You will also have:

  • A tertiary qualification in law, engineering, commerce, business management, or a related field.
  • A current security clearance, or the ability to obtain one, is highly regarded.
  • Developing stakeholder and client management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good business acumen and critical thinking, with the ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills, with experience or a high aptitude for managing project information systems (e.g., data and document management platforms).
  • High self-motivation and a proactive attitude, looking to develop and drive your career.
