Infrastructure Project Manager (Contract)

About the Role

we are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to support the delivery of a fast-moving infrastructure project in Qatar. This is a contract engagement of 4–6 months with the possibility of extension based on project requirements. The successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day project management across a range of IT and OT infrastructure workstreams, working closely with client stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams on the ground.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects including networks, structured cabling, racks, switches, datacenters, fiber, IoT, and IT/OT systems
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and status reports
• Coordinate and manage vendors, subcontractors, and on-site technical teams
• Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the delivery team
• Track project milestones, risks, and issues and drive timely resolution
• Ensure all works are delivered to specification, on time, and within budget
• Conduct site visits and inspections as required throughout the project lifecycle
• Produce and review documentation including method statements, as-built drawings, and handover packs

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in managing infrastructure projects
• Demonstrated hands-on knowledge of: networks, racks, switches, datacenters, fiber optics, IT/OT systems, and IoT infrastructure
• Bilingual — Arabic and English (mandatory; strong communication skills in both languages required)
• Proven ability to manage multiple vendors and stakeholders simultaneously
• Experience working in Qatar or the wider GCC region is strongly preferred
• Available to join immediately or within a very short notice period (mandatory)

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification
• Familiarity with Qatar authority requirements and local project delivery standards
• Experience in government, semi-government, or critical infrastructure environments

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Up to QAR8,000.00 per month
