Summary:
We are currently hiring for the position of Infusion Center Mixing Technician at our Cumming, GA location. This position is responsible for providing direct patient care and related support, including routine medication preparation and inventory management while supporting and demonstrating TwelveStone’s values and philosophies in the accomplishment of our mission. This position is not eligible for telework.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Education: High school diploma or GED required. Unrestricted Certified Pharmacy Technician required. May substitute a bachelor’s degree in nursing or associate's degree in nursing and current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
Experience: Two years of experience in hospital IV room or home infusion required. Must have working knowledge of computer systems, insurance and 3rd party payors, medications and medical terminology.
Functional Competencies: Courtesy, Intermediate math skills – percentages, ratios, adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, attention to detail, critical thinking, problem solving, decision making, written and verbal communication, teamwork, collaboration, cooperation, ability to follow written and verbal instructions, organization, time management, dependable.
