Inpatient Psychiatrist - 3hr Days - No Nights

Senior Medical Associates seeks an psychiatrist to join us to care for an underserved population at the brand new Tri City psychiatric unit and to supervise the unit psychiatric nurse practitioner.

EXPERIENCE: We are looking for a physician adept at inpatient psychiatry who enjoys NP supervision. An ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, environment are also essential.

SCHEDULE: Part time, starting November 17, 2025. We are currently hiring for a weekday physician and weekend / vacation-coverage physicians. Paid for 3-4 hours daily with flexibility on timing of your visits. Remain on-call 7a-5pm while an overnight team handles off-hour calls. Calls may include those for NP supervision or patient needs outside of the NPs 4-5 hour shift.

REQUIREMENTS: Active, unrestricted California Medical & DEA licenses in hand today. Medicare + Medi-Cal eligibility. No recruiters, J1 or H1B candidates.

COMPENSATION: $250 per hour as an independent contractor. +Additional holiday pay. Malpractice insurance provided.
