Inside Plumbing/HVAC sales associate:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team specifically at our Quincy location but have available positions for the right person at all locations. The Inside Sales Representative will be primarily responsible for handling inbound phone calls, taking customer orders, finding parts, processing returns and tracking orders for our customer base.

Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound sales calls addressing parts and technical needs of customers.
• Trouble shoot plumbing and mechanical issues, knowing which questions to ask and leveraging our resources to find answers when we don’t have one.
• Enter customer orders through face-to-face or phone transactions ensuring accuracy with customer.
• Following up on phone calls and all bids in the system.
• Understanding the inventory system, specifically cycle counts and locations.
• Warranty lookup and processing.
• Special order part or equipment procurement. Understanding where to find said items and the process to complete the transaction with the customer.
• Creating new customers when cash or walk-ins come to the store.
• Promote current and new products
• Build and maintain relationships with existing customers through regular follow-up calls and emails.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns.

Requirements:

• Some plumbing, HVAC or mechanical background, either in the trade or on the distribution supply side.
• Basic understanding of Plumbing, HVAC or mechanical systems.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Self-motivated with a strong drive for achieving sales targets

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift, overtime available
• Monday to Friday, Saturdays as needed (4 hours overtime)

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
