Inside Sales Representative
Job Summary
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business and managing existing customer relationships through inbound sales activities conducted via phone, email, and online. This role focuses on identifying customer needs, presenting solutions, closing sales, and achieving revenue targets while providing a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to Binswanger Standard of the proper call flow (proper greeting, hold appreciation, customer name/info verification, proper closing)
  • Answer inbound calls from prospective and existing customers
    • Qualify leads and identify customer needs to recommend appropriate products or services
    • Present pricing, product features, and value propositions clearly and professionally
    • Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and follow-up communications
    • Close sales and meet or exceed individual and team sales targets
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in Salesforce
  • Respond to inbound requests from email/web forms and ensure fast response times.
  • Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and account management teams
  • Upsell and cross-sell additional products or services when appropriate
  • Stay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings
  • Provide feedback to management on customer needs, objections, and market conditions
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1–3 years of inside sales, customer service, or related residential or commercial glass experience (preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport and handle objections effectively
  • Proficiency with standard office software
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
