Expected Hours of Work: Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7:30AM to 5PM.

Reports to: Vice President of Inside Sales & Project Management

Job Summary
The Inside Sales Representative position develops, maintains and interacts primarily utilizing the phone and electronic communication to a broad scope of new and existing customers within the water, wastewater, and industrial markets to increase sales of products and/or services. Develops sales strategies designed to demonstrate the features and benefits of the products to achieve increased sales and profitability.

Essential Functions

  • Handle incoming customer and outside sales inquiries via phone or email, providing product information, pricing, and availability
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers
  • Prepare quotes, sales orders, and invoices accurately and efficiently using company ERP and CRM systems
  • Maintain strong understanding of product lines, applications, and system technologies
  • Collaborate with outside sales team to manage accounts, follow up on quotes, and help identify new sales opportunities
  • Stay updated on manufacturer products, industry trends, and competitive offerings
  • Assist with inventory management

Preferred Education and Experience
High school diploma required with 2 years related experience or an Associate's degree in a technical or business discipline. Related experience would look like minimum of 2 years in a sales or sales support experience and 2 years in customer service, public speaking, or training role.
