Job Description:
Interact with customers, sales personnel and operations to provide and process information in response to orders, inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services. Support sales activities and assist the controller and operations by managing basic accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries. Handle and resolve customer concerns. Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle inquiries and concerns.
- Deal directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face.
- Process customers’ orders and requests.
- Serves as liaison between the manufacturing and sales.
- Assist with Accounting Functions including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Assist with period end inventory counting, closing and reconciliation.
- Assist with cost accounting data.
- Provide assistance for other accounting functions as needed.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal and external departments.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Skills and Qualifications
- High School Degree required.
- Associates degree in business preferred or equivalent experience.
- Two years preferred practical accounting experience.
- Excellent spelling, grammar and writing skills.
- Meets deadlines and establishes clear priorities quickly while working both independently and as part of a team.
- Must excel at working under deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication, Organization, General Math Skills, Data Entry Skills, problem-solving skills, and thorough attention to detail
- Proficient in math
- Excellent computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher
- Creative and technical writing ability
- Strong customer services skills
- Adaptability and flexibility
- Truthfulness and honesty in all communications
- Ability to communicate with internal and external customers
- Ability to handle multiple projects
- Organizational skills
- Consistent and punctual attendance
