Job Summary

The Inside Sales Representative plays a vital role in driving revenue by promoting and selling new garage doors to residential and commercial customers. In this position, you will support sales growth by managing inbound and outbound customer interactions, nurturing leads, and guiding clients through the product selection process.

Your key responsibilities will include identifying sales opportunities, presenting product options, preparing quotes, and closing sales with both residential and commercial customers. Although this role is primarily office‑based, it does require occasional local travel for site visits or measurements.

Success in this role requires strong product knowledge, accuracy with measurements, an understanding of garage door functionality, and the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with customers to support their purchasing decisions.

Primary Area of Focus

The successful Inside Sales representative must be knowledgeable of available products, proficient with measurements, have a keen understanding of how garage doors function and fit into a garage, and communicate all this effectively to homeowners. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, and self-directed, with excellent communication and time management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the inside‑sales process to ensure a smooth, positive customer experience from first contact through closing.
  • Build rapport with customers, primarily through phone, email, and virtual consultations, to understand their needs and present tailored garage door and opener solutions.
  • Clearly communicate next steps, timelines, and payment terms so customers know exactly what to expect.
  • Respond promptly to inbound phone and online inquiries from prospective customers.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with open leads and unsold prospects to maximize conversion rates.
  • Prepare and present detailed quotes, including digital door renderings, to help customers visualize their options and make informed decisions.
  • Provide accurate estimates for service work, remodels, and installation projects.
  • Review and verify materials needed for residential orders to ensure accuracy before processing.
  • When required, coordinate or collect garage measurements and photos to support installation planning.
  • Keep CRM records up to date by logging customer interactions, uploading documentation, and maintaining accurate account details.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • High school or equivalent.
  • At least two years of sales experience.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Reliable and self-motivated.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice.
  • Service Titan knowledge is preferred, but not required

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $50,000.00+ base salary plus commission and sales bonus on sold jobs.
