Inside Sales Representative (Industrial Supply)

About the Role:

We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This is not an entry-level order-taking position—this role requires someone who can learn technical products, think critically, and communicate clearly with customers.

You will work directly with customers to quote products, process orders, and help solve application challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare quotes based on customer needs and specifications
• Learn and understand our product lines (hose, fittings, belts, etc.)
• Communicate with customers via phone and email
• Coordinate with warehouse staff on order fulfillment
• Troubleshoot customer needs and recommend solutions

Schedule & Expectations:

• Work hours are 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday
• Consistent early arrival (by 6:45 AM) is required to ensure a smooth start to the day
• This role requires a high level of dependability and time management

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or higher OR minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience (industrial supply, distribution, manufacturing, etc.)
• Strong math and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn and retain technical information

This Role Is NOT a Fit If You:

• Struggle with basic math or accuracy
• Prefer repetitive, low-responsibility work
• Are not comfortable learning technical products
• Need constant direction or supervision

Compensation & Growth:

• Starting pay: $22–$30/hour, based on experience and qualifications
• Performance-based increases with regular reviews
• Growth potential up to $35+/hour for team members who expand their skillset and take on additional responsibilities
