About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to support our Top Drive parts and drilling equipment division. In this role, you will provide fast, accurate, and knowledgeable assistance to customers, delivering quotations, identifying the correct parts, and coordinating with supply chain and field service teams to ensure exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries for Top Drive components, including TDS series, Varco, Canrig, Tesco, and other OEM/aftermarket parts
- Prepare detailed quotations with pricing, availability, and delivery terms
- Accurately identify parts using BOMs, technical drawings, serial-number records, and cross-reference information
- Follow up on open quotes and convert opportunities into confirmed sales orders
- Process order entry, reservations, and sales confirmations in the ERP system
- Provide regular updates to customers regarding order status, shipping, and lead times
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure on-time delivery
- Support field service teams on rebuilds, inspections, and Top Drive recertification projects
- Build lasting relationships with rig managers, drilling contractors, service companies, and OEM distributors
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with forecasting high-consumption items (wash pipes, spare kits, gear sets, hydraulics, electrical components, pipe-handler/Spipe assemblies)
- Assist the sales manager with pricing strategy, customer follow-ups, and reporting
- Maintain accurate CRM records including notes, contacts, and activities
- Support preparation of commercial proposals, bid packages, and customer presentations.
Skills & Experience
- Prior experience in oilfield equipment sales is preferred
- Strong knowledge of Top Drive systems and parts is a significant advantage
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, part lists, and service manuals
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail with strong follow-through
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with urgent customer needs
- Proficiency with ERP and CRM platforms.
Education
- Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Mechanical or electrical background is beneficial but not required
