This position is a critical link between our customers and the production floor. The position focuses on supporting the sales operation through the entire sales cycle, specifically in the post quote and after sales process. It also provides value-added customer service and upselling functions for the team.
The position requires a person with exceptional customer skills who can make a positive contribution to our team. This position will play a crucial role in strengthening relationships across our customer base.

Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong rapport with existing clients to encourage repeat business and upsell activities.
- Actively engage in outbound and inbound sales activities to generate leads, qualify prospects and convert them into customers.
- Work closely with the outside sales team to align strategies and support their efforts in field sales activities.
- Accurately enter sales orders into the ERP system (PaperlessParts & Fulcrum) and verify all customer terms are in order.
- Coordinate closely with production and outside sales teams to ensure that orders are delivered on time and according to specifications.
- Proactively engage with customers to communicate production status, lead times, shipping status and other technical information after the order is placed.
- Prepare accurate, competitive quotes based on customer blueprints and specifications. This includes material costs, labor hours and production time.
Requirements and Skills:
- Previous experience in customer focused role(s).
- Ability to identify and recommend solutions to customer problems.
- Familiarity with and ability to develop knowledge of CNC machining processes and materials.
- Ability to understand technical drawing and 3D models to discuss technical requirements with customers.
- High level of comfort with ERP systems and office software programs.
- Detail oriented and organized with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written skills are essential for explaining technical benefits and negotiating price.
- Experience in industrial technical sales preferred.
- Familiarity with the requirements of AS9100 standard and requirements.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
