Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Inside Sales / Designer to join our team. This role involves working directly with customers to understand their needs and transforming their ideas into beautiful functional designs using industry-standard design software. The ideal candidate will be proficient in 20/20 Design Software and comfortable guiding clients through the sales and design process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist walk-in customers, showroom visitors, and inbound leads.
- Consult with clients to assess needs, style preferences, space requirements, and budget.
- Create accurate and visually appealing designs using 20/20 Design and other applicable design programs.
- Develop detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings for kitchens, bathrooms, closets, and custom cabinetry projects.
- Prepare detailed quotes, proposals, and invoicing.
- Educate customers on materials, finishes, accessories, and functional layout options.
- Maintain organized project files and update customer records in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with installers, production, and operations teams to ensure designs meet manufacturing requirements.
- Follow up with customers throughout the design, approval, and order process to ensure satisfaction.
- Support the outside sales team, product knowledge, and general sales tasks.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in 20/20 Design Software is required.
- Experience in cabinetry, interior design, kitchen & bath design, or a related field strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of spatial planning and residential design principles.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and consultative sales skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, measurements, and architectural plans.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- High-school diploma required; relevant design or technical certifications are a plus.
Work Schedule
- Full-time, on-site position
- Monday–Friday schedule; 8am-5pm (some flexibility may available)
Benefits
- Starting salary of $45,000-$55,000 annually + Commission
