Renardet SA & Partners is seeking an experienced Mechanical Inspector to join our engineering consultancy team in Oman. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in similar supervision projects and excellent communication skills in English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review of the Site Plan, Plans, Elevations, Building Sections, Area and Parking Schedules and Massing Studies, Street Elevation, Facade Section Profiles, Landscape Design, Roofscape Design, Location and Design of Utility Boxes and Facilities, Location and Design of Pergolas and Shading Devices, Building Cleaning and Maintenance Strategy, and MEP Design Strategy.
• Overview the contractor submittals, including shop drawings, material samples, and technical data and guide the developers to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Regular site visits to monitor construction progress, quality of work, and adherence to plans and specifications.
• Verify that construction activities are in line with approved drawings, plans, and permits.
• Oversee quality control processes, materials testing, and adherence to building codes and standards by the developers.
• Maintain records of site visits, progress reports, and documentation of issues and resolutions.

• Minimum 12 - 15 years of relevant experience with an equivalent or relevant Degree or Diploma.
• Past experience shall include successfully completing a previous position in Projects of a similar scope of work.
• Proficiency in English language (spoken and written).
