Instagram Content Creator – Independent Contractor

About this opportunity

ForgeMSO provides management and operational support to independent medical practices. We are seeking an Instagram Content Creator on behalf of one of our medical practice clients in Santa Barbara, CA. The practice specializes in women's health and reproductive medicine. We are open to structuring this as either an independent contractor (1099) or part-time employee arrangement depending on the right fit.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a monthly Instagram content calendar
• Capture original photo and video content at the practice's Santa Barbara location
• Edit and produce posts, reels, and stories optimized for Instagram
• Write engaging captions aligned with the practice's brand voice
• Monitor post performance and suggest content adjustments accordingly

Requirements

• Located in or near Santa Barbara, CA — on-site availability required
• Experience creating Instagram content (Reels, carousels, stories)
• Comfortable shooting and editing your own photo and video content
• Strong eye for aesthetics, detail, and brand consistency
• Ability to handle sensitive medical subject matter with professionalism and empathy
• Comfortable working within a medical practice environment
