Installation & Commissioning Mechanical Engineer

Execute installation, erection, testing, and commissioning of lubricant and petrochemical systems.

Supervise installation of piping systems, tanks, pumps, skids, heat exchangers, and auxiliary equipment.

Read and interpret P&ID, GA drawings, isometrics, and layout drawings.

Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and commissioning of mechanical equipment.

Coordinate with civil, electrical, and instrumentation teams during site execution.

Conduct flushing, cleaning, pressure testing, leak testing, and trial runs of piping systems.

Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with project schedules, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Identify and resolve installation and commissioning issues at site.

Prepare and submit daily progress reports, commissioning checklists, and handover documents.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, and vendors during project execution.

Support training of operators and handover of systems to the client.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of lubricant systems and petrochemical process equipment.

Good understanding of piping layouts, P&ID, and process flow diagrams.

Knowledge of hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, filters, coolers, and skids.

Familiarity with industry standards and codes (ASME, API, ANSI, ISO).

Basic understanding of instrumentation and control systems.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to work at project sites and travel as required.

Educational Qualification:

BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
