Trinity Solar is seeking an experienced Solar Installation Crew Leader to lead residential solar installation projects in the Chester, NY area.

In this role, you'll work hands-on in the field while leading a small installation team, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You'll play a key role in helping homeowners transition to clean energy while mentoring your team and ensuring every installation is done right.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside a crew installing residential solar systems

• Install solar panels, racking systems, wiring, and electrical components

• Ensure all installations meet NEC codes, company standards, and safety guidelines

• Provide on-site leadership, guidance, and training to installation team members

• Troubleshoot installation challenges and maintain project timelines

• Maintain accurate installation documentation and job photos

• Communicate professionally with homeowners, inspectors, and internal teams

• Ensure the jobsite is safe, organized, and professional

• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment

Qualifications & Experience

• 1–2+ years of solar installation, electrical, roofing, or construction experience

• Prior crew leadership or foreman experience preferred

• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools

• Comfortable working on roofs, ladders, and at heights

• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs regularly

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
