Installation Heating Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heating Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating systems across a variety of commercial and residential settings. Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, and repairing heating systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations
• Conducting routine maintenance to ensure optimal system performance
• Diagnosing faults using mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
• Using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry tools to complete tasks efficiently
• Performing heavy lifting when required, ensuring safe handling of equipment and materials
• Reading technical drawings and schematics to guide installation or repair work
• Assisting with system assembly and component fitting in both commercial and residential environments
• Maintaining accurate records of work completed and parts used
• Ensuring all work areas are left clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations

Experience

• Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or similar role within the domestic services industry
• Practical knowledge of plumbing, mechanical systems, carpentry, and assembly processes
• Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment such as welding gear
• Experience working on commercial heating systems is highly desirable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during installation or maintenance tasks
• Valid driving licence for commercial driving duties preferred but not essential
• Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and reading technical documents

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
