We are a reputed outdoor catering company based in Perungudi, Chennai, known for delivering high-quality food and service for events of all sizes. As we modernize our kitchen with state-of-the-art, high-speed production equipment, we are looking to onboard a skilled and experienced professional to lead the installation and maintenance process.

We are seeking a qualified *Mechanical Engineer / DME / ITI technician* with hands-on experience in commercial kitchen or industrial equipment installation and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the setup, testing, operation, and ongoing upkeep of all new kitchen machinery and production tools.

### *Key Responsibilities:*

* Supervise the installation of new kitchen equipment and ensure correct setup according to manufacturer's specifications.

* Coordinate with equipment vendors, contractors, and in-house teams to ensure smooth execution.

* Perform initial system tests and troubleshoot any setup issues.

* Establish and maintain a preventive maintenance schedule for all installed equipment.

* Provide training to staff on basic equipment operation and maintenance.

* Monitor equipment performance and respond promptly to breakdowns or malfunctions.

* Maintain proper documentation of equipment manuals, service logs, and warranties.

* Ensure all equipment and installations comply with safety, hygiene, and quality standards.

### *Requirements:*

* Diploma or ITI in Mechanical / Electrical / Refrigeration / related fields.

* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in commercial kitchen or industrial equipment installation and servicing.

* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

* Familiarity with gas, electrical, and steam-based kitchen equipment.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

* Good communication and coordination skills.

* Willingness to work on-site in Perungudi and occasionally travel for vendor coordination.

### *Preferred Experience:*

* Prior work in catering kitchens, hotels, cloud kitchens, or food manufacturing plants.

*Salary:* Commensurate with experience

*Joining Date:* Immediate preferred
