Installation Team Lead at Iowa City Landscaping

Job Description:

We are looking for experienced landscape
team leaders and members. Previous experience in landscape/hardscape
installation is required including installation of paver patios, block and
boulder retaining walls, drainage systems, and rock beds. Team leaders work
closely with our landscape designer to install projects while taking charge of
a team of 2-3 people. Must have good organizational skills and a good
leadership attitude.

Responsibilities:

Supervise a team,
typically 2-3

Reports for duty
at the designated location on time each day.

Operate various
tools and equipment

Always maintain a
safe and clean job site.

Wears appropriate
personal protective equipment as directed by project or equipment usage.

Follows all
safety rules, company policies and regulations.

Completes all
other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Valid Driver’s License

Previous landscaping experience

High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

Good
communication skills.

Able to lift
60-80 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday.

Able to work in
outdoor conditions.

Positive work
ethic.

Schedule:

This is a
full-time position.

Monday-Friday
7am-5pm. Hours may vary based on demands.

Compensation
and Benefits:

Competitive hourly rate based on experience and
performance. Time and a half for 40+ hours.
